    Ventaja comparativa del sector floricultor colombiano que promueva su presencia y le permita fortalecerse en el marco del TLC con corea del sur

    The floriculture activity in Colombia has been characterized for being one of the most competitive, due to the advantages with which it counts for the production, the weather and topography, given the floriculture the opportunity to offer to the world flowers of great variety and excellent quality, it is also evident that there is opportunity in other markets of great purchasing power for the Colombian flowers since they also demand much of this product. The objective of this work was analyze if the presence and the strengthening of the Colombian flower industry can be promoted within the framework of the FTA with South Korea, with the model comparative advantages’ David Ricardo, in which the production capacity of Colombian floriculture comparing it with other countries that also dedicate themselves to the production of flowers. Now to advance this goal, conducted an analysis sector of the flower over the past few years. Where it is evident that Colombia has a favorable climate, its aquifer resources are enough and the fertility of the land for production have made Colombian floriculture competitive with other competitors who also dedicate themselves to the production and commercialization of flowers.
