    This degree work, whose objective is to design a desktop application for catenary inspection, has the purpose of creating a series of points in space from the catenary equation that allows recreating electrical cables, it is presented as a feasible project that proposes a solution due to the lack of an application that is so specific for this type of case. As a final result, the application was a success for the company, meeting all the requirements established at the beginning and giving the final endorsement to implement this desktop application in the field and in a real environment. For the creation of said catenary inspection software, it is very important to carry out a detailed study of the need that exists and what solutions can be given to be clear about what is going to be developed. To do it, it is necessary to take into account all the steps, with an investigative methodology, as is the case of discovering with bases the problems that are occurring in the current system, if it exists.
