Based on the entry into vigor of the trade agreement between Colombia - Israel, the economy presents different positive connotations with respect to the primary sector, specifically the fruit sector, since the implications of this agreement for a possible industrialization of the fruit sector in Colombia were analyzed. The offer that Israel can provide to Colombia for this sector in terms of agro-industrial machinery was identified, which would generate an improvement in links of the value chain such as suppliers and production, so that Colombia can position itself in the international market in the fruit sector and, likewise, competitiveness is at a high level in terms of these products. Considering that Colombia wants to implement added value in its value chain, especially in the production stage, for the future it would have positive consequences both for Colombia in the fruit sector and for the destination countries, since with the implementation of machinery and technology imported from Israel, not only will Colombia's production in the fruit sector improve, but it will also improve in the international markets, at the level of supply of fruit products.
