    Riesgo de estrés laboral en el cuerpo de bomberos voluntarios de la ciudad de Villavicencio

    The work environment of the volunteers of the fire department and the firefighters in general, experience highly traumatic different situations in a repeatedly way, being exposed to different factors that make them more vulnerable to a possible risk of work stress. Given the above, this research had as purpose to answer the investigation question: which are the factors identified in the volunteer firefighters in the city of Villavicencio that can lead them to present possible risks of work stress? For this, was applied the questionnaire for evaluation work stress as an instrument to collect information, applied to 50 volunteer firefighters of Villavicencio; and literary review, the one that provided input for the designee of the questionnaire and correlation of results. Was found a slight level of the frequency of the factors corresponding to emotional conditions, physical conditions, and working conditions and resources, even so, it was corroborated, although at a slight level of the factors mentioned, there is an existence of them, and in a medium and high level the factors 3 and 5, therefore, is inferred a possible risk that can lead them to the work stress, furthermore, showing a high level of risk of factor 5 mental health care which determines physiologic support in the work environment. Finally, it’s suggested the meaning of establishing a suitable permanent professional in the entity, who provides support to the psychological and emotional state, also the continuous monitoring, and, who promotes the health of the Villavicencio fire department.
