    C.I Recyclables S.A.S Una mirada hacia la sostenibilidad

    Worldwide people make use of technology and electrical and electronic equipment (EEE), the real problem arises when its useful life comes to an end becoming WEEE (Waste electrical or electronic equipment) considered as hazardous waste. The objective of this work is to analyze the importance of company C.I. Recyclables S.A.S. through Porter and Van der Linder in their theory of environmental competitiveness relating two important factors, productivity with people’s living standards. The study carried out has a qualitative approach of descriptive scope, analyzing environmental factors such as health and the serious consequences if there is no awareness of what is being lived today. As for the investigations carried out, Colombia has a regulation for the use and final disposal of both solid waste and WEEE. Regarding the export issue, the company C.I. Recyclables S.A.S. WEEE exports to different countries so that they take advantage of the parts that cannot be used in the country, these exports show a FOB value of US$ 6 410 486. As for the theory of environmental competitiveness, the company is located within the light green business nuance and the one interested in the business. Under this perspective, the company manages a differentiating factor regarding the use of components that can be reused in other processes.
