    Mercado potencial para la exportación de caballos criollos colombianos

    This article analyzes the Colombian equine sector, especially the conformation, types, classification and commercialization of Creole horses around the world. The Colombian Creole horses are recognized and desired by the public thanks to the different disciplines they have, striking and elegant movements in each movement that they execute thanks to their disciplines. The objective of the work is to identify a potential market for the export of the aforementioned specimens and also to know the requirements requested by the selected country for their transport and commercialization. The 5 countries with the highest imports in millions of USD in the world of specimens belonging to the nomenclature 0101299000 are chosen, they are “United States, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, but for the selection of the potential market variables such as GDP per capital, import price, imported quantity per unit, distance and tariff charge, for this election a weighting matrix is developed, which yields positive results for the United States country. Finally, the process of exporting Colombian Creole horses to the North American country is presented, as well as their means of transport, route and additionally the regulations, requirements and requirements requested by the country for the correct transfer and export of the specimens from their initial stud to the hatchery of its final destination.
