    Colombia in a country that, due to its geographical position, its endowment of renewable natural resources and its culture should be one of the countries with greater competitiveness and advantages at the moment of exporting goods of this nature. However, Colombia's participation in international markets and production is lagging behind other economies. Thus affecting its commercial dynamism and consequently impacting its intra-industrial trade with those countries to which it exports. This impact has caused some of these relative advantages to dissipate, losing the existing competitiveness in those products of an intra-industrial or inter-industrial nature. This loss of competitiveness is reflected in those products that over the years have ceased to be intra-industrial and became products of a purely inter-industrial nature or not knowing those products that have a potential to go from industrial to industrial. to intra-industrial or those interindustry over which they have an advantage over the other economy.
