    The main objective of the document is to demonstrate the relationship that exists between public space and threshold as part of a catalyst in a cultural center in bosa Sambernardino, the result given is the design of equipment that provides interaction to users denoting to carry out new activities through opportunities and relations of public spaces and the threshold. The method applied to carry out the research is collect threshold data in relation to public spaces in the localities of Bogotá thereby determining the place of intervention. Make the collection of such information the thresholds and the public space are established according to the activity of the population of the place to intervene, to finally relate as a result the catalytic space that interacts as part of the operation in relation to the public space and the threshold.
