    Ventajas comparativas reveladas del cacao colombiano en la alianza del pacifico y oportunidad en el posconflicto

    In last years, the cocoa production in Colombia has improved in relation to quality, likewise, exportations have increased this has reflected an increase of the foreign demand as this can generate new opportunities for national producers, and, in this way, improve his quality life. The investigation presents several relevant problems in Colombia as this are the deficit trade balance, dependence of markets and products, lack of innovation and diversification, the loss of positioning of the coffee in last years and consequences that war left after the conflict in the agricultural sector of Colombia. The first chapter covers the exportations of Colombian cocoa to the world, where will be exposed the cocoa exports in all the world, the cocoa production in Colombia by departments, the cocoa exports in dollars and by destination. Finally, will be explained the trade balance of the cocoa in Colombia. For the second chapter, are analyzed the exportations of Colombia by the index of Revealed Comparative Advantages (RCA) proposed by Bela Balassa. For this application, the project will use two derived indicators: the regional RCA and the transformed RCA that are useful for the study in groups of integration between countries as Alianza del Pacifico. The third and last chapter will be expose the opportunities that has the cocoa of Colombia in the post conflict.
