    Competitividad de la economía de Chile y de Colombia y sus exportaciones a China

    The objective of this research is to analyze the competitiveness of the economy of Chile and Colombia; with the purpose of identifying the behavior of its exports to the Chinese market. To achieve the established objectives, a study was made about the competitiveness of the Chilean and Colombian economy, applying the systemic competitiveness model of Klauss Esser and also, the behavior of Chilean and Colombian products was analyzed to the Chinese market. The investigation showed that the Colombian economy is less competitive than the Chilean economy according to the Global Competitiveness Report 2018 of the World Economic Forum, therefore, Colombia needs to improve at the meso, macro and meta levels that will allow it to increase exports to the Chinese market and thus close the gap in relation to the products exported by Chile.
