    Propuesta implementación de un modelo de gestión de proyectos con enfoque en la calidad del proceso de Gestión de Ingeniería según la Guía del PMBOK sexta edición para la empresa SAR Energy S.A.S.

    SAR Energy S.A.S, a company that serves the extractive industry in the hydrocarbons sector, saw the need to adjust the project direction of Engineering Management. To achieve this, a proposal was built to implement a quality-focused project management model of the Engineering Management process according to the basics of the sixth edition PMBOK Guide. As a first step, the diagnosis of project management was carried out to identify the problems, then a strategy for the implementation of the improvement was defined, for which it was necessary to bring the team together and debug the ideas, so the work plan was designed its implementation, specifying a schedule of activities, and thus being able to develop them, among these are : adjustment of procedures, creation of formats that guarantee traceability and areas of knowledge named in the PMBOK Guide, improve the characterization of the engineering process, identifying critical factors, control mechanisms, resources, regulatory requirements and management indicators, among others. Finally, the project management evaluation metric described in the PMBOK Guide was established to analyze the performance of costs and timeline in the course of projects, this in order to have a chance of reaction in a possible non-compliance.
