Item Propuesta para la obtención del sello de comercio justo Fair-Trade en la Asociación AsofrulenGarcia Velez, Angie Juliana; Reyes Padilla, Maria Camila; Diaz Ariza, Diana MarcelaThe present work of degree will be based on a project in development that forms part of the line of sustainable businesses of the international business program of the University Uniagustiniana. The project is based on the theory of Fair Trade or alternative trade whose objective is to improve market access for the most disadvantaged producers and to change some of the rules of international trade (Solidaria, s.f). In this sense, the objective of the project will be to create a strategy for a peasant association in the department of Boyacá - Colombia called Asofrulen to obtain in the near future the international seal of Fair Trade, known as the Fair Trade Mark, and thus in this way can expand its market to international trade and make its product known. Asofrulen is a peasant association dedicated to the production, processing and distribution of an exotic fruit from the region of Lengupa in Boyacá, called Chamba. This fruit, whose scientific name is Campomanesia lineatifolia R. & P., belonging to the family Myrtaceae, is a berry of approximately 25 grams that is characterized by its high amount of acids and concentration of sugars (Perfetti, 2012)The Association is in charge of the process of cultivation, harvest, transformation of the fruit into pulp and its distribution.
