Generally speaking, the tourist value of a specific destination is generated by a system of elements that work with each other, in other words, the value is given from the activity of a tourist value chain, and knowing its operation is vital if you want improve or develop the future potential of any place. The purpose of this document is to analyze the behavior of the tourist value chain of the municipality of Tabio, as well as its composition, advantages, shortcomings and solutions proposals, within a context of continuous improvement in favor of enhancing local tourism. Taking into account all types of qualitative and quantitative relevant variable from the analysis, and, by proposing a value chain model for the municipality, as well as a subsequent field work through tourist surveys and checklists to the providers of tourism services, in turn the current status and the field of improvement to the value chain system in general of the municipality, evaluating in turn the latter place in an attractive, organized and with a varied offer and versatile for all types of tourists. Taking into account all types of qualitative and quantitative relevant variable from the analysis, and, through the proposal of a value chain model for the municipality, as well as a subsequent fieldwork through surveys to tourists and checklists to tourism service providers, the current state and the area of improvement for the overall value system or value chain of the municipality was established, also evaluating how attractive, organized is Tabio and how varied and versatile is the tourism offer for all types of tourist.
