    This study develops an institutional diagnosis of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, with a focus on the South America Internal Working Group (GIT), based on direct observation of its operational dynamics. The analysis identified weaknesses in the management of strategic information, particularly the reliance on manual processes, the dispersion of data, and the absence of standardized knowledge transfer mechanisms. Based on these findings, three improvement proposals were formulated, aimed at optimizing regional situation monitoring, strengthening bilateral follow-up, and ensuring operational continuity.
