Percepción sobre la plataforma Home Exchange en la industria hotelera legal de la localidad de la Candelaria

This research project informs the perspective on the digital platforms that are used and used for the promotion and marketing of accommodation or accommodation spaces in the area of La Candelaria, located in the center of Bogota, capital of Colombia. For this, qualitative research tools are used that study the space or context, referring to the hotels located in this area where the project is carried out, including observation tools and interviews where the result is the knowledge of the perspective of the different workers of the hotels located within the area, in this way it is evidenced as affecting the hotel sector positively or negatively, that is legally constituted and that brings some consequences where it is reflected the great opportunities that can be taken from platforms such as: marketing, promotion and advertising, as well as how other people informally take advantage of this same medium to market, promote and advertise accommodation spaces that are not guaranteed and legally constituted, thereby negatively affecting the hotel sector. Thus it is identified that the purpose of these electronic platforms is to properly realize their functionality in a considered manner, operating on a level playing field for all the parties concerned.
