    Evaluación del servicio de los hostales de la Candelaria, desde la percepción de los viajeros

    The present research reveals the user´s (backpackers) quality perception of the service in the hostels in Candelaria neighborhood in Bogota city, using the ServPref model as a measurement scale. The research is divided into three sections: 1. Characterization of the offer of accommodation services in Candelaria´s hostels 2. Quality evaluation of the hostels in the sector base on the current regulation and the perception of the traveler 3. Recommendations to improve the quality of the service provided in the hostels of Candelaria. Finally, a quality guide for the basic operation of a hostel is presented.
