    Realidad del subsector de trigo en Colombia después de la firma de los TLC con Canadá y Estados Unidos

    The main objective of this research is to analyze the behavior of the wheat subsector in Colombia after the signing of the Colombia-Canada and Colombia-United States FTAs, for which there is currently a 0% tariff on wheat exports to Colombia. Concluding that since the validity of the FTA there is a tendency to demise the wheat sub sector in Colombia because of the constant pressure of imports and that they have also forced the wheat sub-sector to depend on them in recent years from the United States and Canada. On the other hand, Canada was the country that increased exports the most from the period 2012 and also for the United States. However, proposals from government entities and guilds may be an opportunity for the subsector to remain in time to prevent its demise.
