    The central objective of the document is the design of a study of times and movements for the metal-mechanical processes of the manufacture of the company Aresmet, in order to increase the productivity, quality, and well-being of the employees. To carry out the study, process diagrams, two-hand diagrams, plant distribution, and route diagrams were used as an analysis tool for each of the areas that are immersed in production; Through these results, corrective mechanisms are generated for productive improvement through the implementation of the 5s, a proposal about the working day and a new distribution of silver; obtaining evidence that the identification, disorder, and lack of cleanliness of the areas and equipment generate a work environment that is not appropriate for the correct functioning of the company, in addition to this, a number of transports and reprocesses were identified that not only affect the times of production, but also bring deficiency to the workforce.
