    Estado y crecimiento del cross border e-commerce en el mundo, Latinoamérica y Colombia

    The opportunity to create a company efficiently is to know how to immerse oneself in electronic commerce, especially if it is cross-border, since it has proven to be a specific strategy where new benefits are obtained such as technological adaptability, perfecting the commercialization of the product or service and improving the logistic process, so as to increase exports and negotiations both in Colombia and in the rest of the world. The main objective of this paper is to analyze the incidence of cross-border electronic commerce in the commercial dynamics of Latin America and Colombia with the rest of the world. In this sense, some research sources, concepts and antecedents of cross-border e-commerce were identified in order to deduce the tools that were applied in developed countries, Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) countries and, finally, in Colombia. In conclusion, it addresses the experiences of cross-border e-commerce in the world, analyzing the main factors that occur in developed countries that adopt this commercial activity, with the above, the scope of cross-border e-commerce in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) is determined, identifying the challenges that are presented in the 5 main economies of LAC, therefore, it is examined the causes faced by MSMEs in the adoption of cross border e-Commerce in Colombia such as trade financing, logistics, and digital regulations, pointing out the obstacles that MSMEs must overcome to move towards digital transformation.
