    Plan estratégico para el fomento del turismo de bienestar en el municipio de Chocontá Cundinamarca

    Tourism is a field that has developed and has become in one of the best option for the growth of the economy, there are different types of tourism, among these, we can find the health tourism from which welfare tourism is resultant, this type of tourism focuses mainly on the prevention and health care from natural environments such as hot springs. In Chocontá, Cundinamarca’s Municipality. It is observed none or low tourism development, however, this town relies on two service providers for hot springs (Nápoles and Volcanes). The main objective of this work is to develop a strategic plan that allows the promotion of welfare tourism through a descriptive research and mixed approach. To carry out this, checklists for hot springs were created based on the law regulations, also a questionnaire to know the reasons why visitors come to these places and finally the construction of a strategic plan from the data collected.
