This work is a proposal that aims to make tourism an activity that works as a complement to environmental training for the students of the General Santander Institute in Soacha, Cundinamarca and in the same way take advantage of the natural elements from the municipality such as tourist resources. To carry it out, information was sought from the municipality to identify weaknesses and potentialities that affect tourism activity. Then the exploratory method was used with a qualitative approach so that data was collected through a series of interviews and surveys implementing structured questionnaires, allowing this way to know the different points of view that it is necessary to take into account within the institutional hierarchy such as teachers and students, being these the main segment involved in the exercise of the tourist activity of this proposal. Finally, the information obtained is taken and the tourist product is created that includes the Boquemonte park as a nature tourist resource in which ecological tours are allowed where an own tour script was built, adding activities as a component of Environmental Education also self-built. This work aims to generate a positive impact by raising awareness about the environment through tourism, at the same time improving the negative perception that people has about Soacha and increasing the probability of creating tourist products.
