The present project is an ecotourism proposal for Hotel Management and Tourism students of the Agustiniana University which aims to raise awareness about protection of wetlands, because there are deteriorating every day, as well as disappearing by massive urbanization and in turn is intended to generate the development of this tourist activity through educational outings, related to ecotourism, so that students have knowledge of the importance of these natural áreas for the of Bogota. The methodology used for the present investigation was of qualitative approach, which allowed to identify the natural resources with tourist potential present in the District Ecological Park Humedal Santa María del Lago and to identify the profile of the tourist Uniagustiniano interested in visiting these ecosystems. After this, the product is designed, which aims to promote responsible tourism, taking into account the factors that may occur if not properly managed within these natural areas. To conclude, a pilot test was carried out with the support of a teacher and a group of second semester Hotel and Tourism students from the Agustiniana University, which allowed the group of students to get closer to the area where they studied directly.
