Business intelligence is mainly aimed at supporting strategic planning, decision making and competitive advantages of companies through different tools that facilitate the collection and processing of information, providing various benefits and advantages at the administrative and operational levels. Small and medium-sized companies have great growth potential, but due to some difficulties in the administration of their processes, not acquisition of technologies and other shortcomings are left behind in the market, therefore, the application of business intelligence in these Companies would maximize their competitive capacity by having a comprehensive information management to in turn give a better use of the decisions to make, among other significant benefits.
