    Plan de internacionalización para Phoenix Electronics E.U desde Colombia hacia Ecuador

    The main purpose of this research study is to propose an international model for a Colombian SME (Small and Medium Enterprises). Based on the analysis developed at Phoenix Electronics organization and the electricity market in Ecuador, then propose a an export plan to the company according to their needs in order to answer the main question of this research: Which could be the internationalization strategy that Phoenix Electronics of Colombia SAS could implement to export its product to Ecuador? It was identified during the research study carried out to the internationalization models proposed by experts that the Way Station Model of internationalization is the one that fits the needs and it’s this the one Phoenix Electronics Organization is planning to follow as the strategy chosen. The methodology chosen was descriptive since it is defined as an exact description of the process, activities and objects in order to get insights about the situations. Interviews and weekly field journals were conducted to monitor the processes. Finally, applying the Way Station model, the input mode selection will be passive export since it is the one that implies the least contingency plans.
