    In order to carry out this project, a series of information was collected about the organizational design of the construction company GRUPO Y.C. CONSTRUCTORA located in the town of Malaga, Santander, not only was information obtained from the company in general, but also a focus was made on its different administrative and operational areas. This study was carried out through interviews and detailed observations. The first step was to prepare a diagnosis of the company and with the result, administrative tools were applied, showing in them weaknesses and strengths of the company. With the above data, it was reached the point of creating strategies in order to elaborate an organizational design applied especially in the administrative functional areas, giving as an effect, the need to implement a very well structured mission, vision and organization chart and the creation of management manuals. functions for the different organizational positions. Always with the thought of improving the functions of each area of ​​the company, the quality of the company's portfolio will also be influenced.
