    El expandir como estrategia de intervension en un edificio B.I.C (Villa Servita)

    This research presents a critical reflection on architectural intervention in Cultural Heritage Assets (BIC), taking Villa Servitá in Bogotá as a case study. Based on the concept of projectual expansion and the analysis of spatial strategies such as torsion and frontality, it proposes a renewed reading of heritage, understanding that these spaces should not be limited to static conservation, but should open up to new forms of use, relationship, and habitability. The methodology integrates an analytical matrix based on the inclusion, exclusion, conjunction, and intersection filters proposed by Alberto Gamboa (2013), in order to categorize and interpret different forms of heritage intervention. The architectural proposal seeks to activate Villa Servitá as an articulating node between past and present, capable of connecting the symbolic value of the place with contemporary social dynamics. The study emphasizes circulation as an articulating element between heritage and design, promoting a fluid integration with the urban context and allowing the cultural asset to regain meaning within the everyday life of the city.
