Creación y producción de un videoclip de rock alternativo, de la banda colombiana Valor Oculto para su segundo single; Ser Libre.
Negrete-Martínez, Angely Tatiana; Navas-Urbina, Liz Karen Adriana; Quiñones-Ardila, Javier Estiven; Oscar Yobany Romero Bonilla
In Colombia, the music video has gone beyond its promotional function to become a medium of artistic and cultural expression, especially within the rock genre, where bands have used visual language to tell stories, highlight social issues, and build a distinct identity for their audience. This project focuses on the development of the music video Ser Libre by the band Valor Oculto, whose main objective is to convey a message of freedom and free expression. To achieve this, an audiovisual proposal is developed that not only accompanies the music but also enhances its meaning through a narrative and aesthetic coherent with the genre and the artistic intentions of the performers. The project addresses the creation and production process of the music video, beginning with research into aesthetic and narrative references from Colombian and international rock music. Based on the analysis of precedents in Colombian rock music videos, visual, technical, and narrative elements are identified to build a solid and original proposal. Finally, the document organizes the development of the project into different phases, ranging from the definition of the creative problem to the final execution, with the aim of delivering a professional-quality audiovisual product that strengthens the band’s visual identity and contributes to the landscape of rock music videos in the country.
