Item Estrategia Made In The World Initiative, para la industria textil colombianaAvendaño-Velandia, Tania Yiseth; Moreno-Sanchez, Andrea Valentina; Sierra-Martinez, Karen Paola; Valencia G, CatherineThis project focuses on the implementation of a strategy for the Colombian textile industry in Made In The World Initiative, a brand that gives origin and recognition to products made not only from one country but also from different countries, where a product is produced, processed, assembled and marketed through global value chains, involving all developing countries, in order to improve the economies of the countries, generating employment, education and stability for all those who seek recognition. Paul Krugman argues that intra-industrial trade allows for imperfect and monopolistic competition with countries that can produce the same but with a differentiating factor where it can be seen that today world trade is gives thanks to the interactions that exist between countries for the production of a good or service pointing out José Manuel Cárdenas that nowadays it is a necessity for countries to exercise this type of commercial practices in order to have a alternative to economic growth. For the Colombian textile industry, it is feasible to develop it only within an economic integration agreement, understanding that it is a process where the elimination of barriers to trade and the free movement of production factors are carried out where for the Colombian case it is possible within of the economic integration agreement with the Pacific Alliance as it has the characteristics required for a Made In The World strategy.
