    Propuesta para el desarrollo agroturístico de la comunidad cacaotera del municipio de San Vicente de Chucurí, Santander

    The following paper presents a proposal aimed to contribute the agrotourist development on the cacao communities located in San Vicente de Chucuri; Taking into account that this tourist activity typology has represented, for the communities where the environmental, cultural and economic development has been implemented, that joins the community tourism as a alternative choice for the region. It is also important to highlight Santander as the most important municipality regarding the cacao production in Colombia, earning the name of Cacao Capital thanks to its location which is a land rich in natural resources and therefore in tourism. Moreover, this paper aims to create a cultural appreciation to the farming through the tourism, creating a feeling of appropriation and pride for its citizens, in order to create a complete development for the community. This research was done hand to hand with the community, which helps to understand the municipality needs, weaknesses and strengths about the tourism and creates an interest inside the community to contribute to this activity.
