Item Industria textil colombiana, un acercamiento desde el fast-fashion como estrategia de negocio en economías de escalaLópez-Moreno, Edna Ximena; Montoya-Alvarado, Tatiana Sofia; Rojas-Muñoz, Johan Fabian; Valencia-González, CatherineThis work analyzed the business model recognized in the fashion sector, such as fast fashion, a model of insertion in international markets of large industries and is reflected in developed countries, it reflected in the Colombian textile industry that there is a trend of fast fashion and with respect to the quantities of garments produced on a large scale, they generate a greater profit margin. Applying the theory of economies of scale, the most commercialized products by Colombia abroad were identified, both for imports and for exports of chapters 61 and 62 of the customs tariff, in which garments, also known as textile manufactures, are grouped together. Subsequently, information on the main trading partners for both importing and exporting countries of said products was consolidated, and finally the Colombian companies that apply the model from economies of scale are identified. Colombian companies were determined by number of employees, since the number of employees establishes a greater volume of production, synonymous with scale.
