Transformación de la logística de ventas y distribución en las empresas de mensajería expresa en Colombia, a raíz de la pandemia (covid-19)
Avila-Armenta, Angie Carolina; Melo-Pulido, Lorena; Catumba-Arias, Juan Carlos
This research work contains the description and analysis of the strategies used by companies in the express courier sector in their logistics sales and distribution processes, and how these were transformed as a result of the health emergency caused by covid 19. The investigation is developed based on how covid 19 impacted companies in general, and the changes they had to face in the new normal. This research was carried out under a descriptive model with a qualitative approach, primary sources such as surveys of companies in this sector were used to evaluate their experiences in this regard. From this review it was found that there is little record of information on the express messaging sector and on how companies can improve their processes, the instrument applied allowed to identify that the use of digital means for contact with customers, the implementation electronic payments, and the transition to teleworking were just some of the strategies used by companies in the express courier sector to improve their logistics and distribution processes. Among the strategies that generated the greatest impact on the surveyed organizations, are the automation of the invoicing and sending processes of digital documents, the implementation of the electronic signature, and the development of platforms and internal systems to monitor the news in real time.
