    Incidencia del Tratado de Libre Comercio (TLC) con Estados Unidos en el Sector de Cuero, Calzado y Maquinería colombiano

    The Leather, Footwear and Leather Goods Sector in Colombia has had factors that have posed challenges both in the national and international markets, which led to important economic and political changes, after the signing of the free trade agreement (FTA) with the United States, in where the businessmen of the sector have been increasing in exports, in the purchase of raw material, additionally one of the most important agreements is the reduction of tariffs to 0% for the first ten years in which the validity of the treaty has elapsed, without leaving aside the alliance of the different entities to encourage foreign investment, this being positive, to expand the information on the situation of the sector, the descriptive qualitative methodology was worked on, in which the incidence of the United States trade agreement was analyzed. United States and Colombia in the sector, to develop the chapters of the investigation, the theory of integration was taken as a reference. Integration of Bela Balassa, as the organizational structure in turn the interaction in the free trade zone of both countries for the improvement and monitoring of protection for the entry of merchandise in the border area.
