    Oportunidades de negocio de Colombia en los países de la Asociación de Naciones del Sudeste Asiático

    The economic opening developed since 1990, has led to Colombia gradually seek to expand its participation in international trade by diversifying its partners, although, there are not many results in the latter. Therefore, the objective of this research is to identify the ASEAN member countries in which Colombia could initiate market penetration in Southeast Asia and therefore it is necessary to determine the product to make a possible rapprochement. This is a descriptive and qualitative investigation explaining the main economic, commercial and political conditions of the member countries of this association. Consequently, this text based on the principles of neo-liberalism that advocates free trade and employs the theory of availability of Irving Kravis, which argues that a trade exchange depends on scarce factors and resources. The obtained results, to identify that Singapore is the ideal country to generate commercial relations. Additionally, the business opportunity can give itself in the agricultural products especially exotic fruits produced in Colombia and imported for Singapore.
