    Cátedra de la Paz, del decreto al aula “Recorriendo memorias y caminos de paz”

    The main aim of this research is to design a proposal of pedagogical intervention that contributes to boost the implementation of the Chair of Peace in the Agustiniano Norte School. In addition, this proposal seeks to reinforce the political dimension in the students of mid-secondary school level from an educational work that acts as a mechanism to activate the historical memory face to the armed conflict in Colombia and also, contributes to building the active citizenships. In this way, these active citizenships build collective processes of reconciliation, social justice and daily practices that establish scenarios of peaceful living and defense of Human Rights. This is a qualitative research base on the researching of educational action as a strategy that looks for acting on a specific problem of the school context and that improves the pedagogical praxis of teachers as well. About its implementation, this was working with principals and students making an explicit characterization about the way in which the school has launched the Chair of Peace, tracking its sense, relevance and needs, and then generates a proposal of implementation that invigorates the executed process. It was found that the Chair of Peace is in line with the Institutional Educational Project and the mission of the School but even the Chair of Peace needs to be planned, reinforced and boosted through strategies that involve the whole educational community and also, generate a major impact in terms of the kind of person that is teaching and the society project that is aimed.
