Propuesta de asociatividad rural para incentivar la exportación de cafés especiales, en la región de Cundinamarca

A project of rural association for four farms located in the area of Cundinamarca can profit the advantages offered by the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia (Fedecafe) to develop the production of especial type of coffee looking forward exportation is going to be presented below. The objective of this research is to promote the rural association of the coffee growers in the area of Cundinamarca to enhance the exportations of especial sorts of coffee. This document will abbord three chapters; the first one describes and characterizes the four farm fields selected remarking aspects as the production, ending up in the commercialization of the grown coffee; the second one will show the programs managed by FEDECAFE in the national and local order; and the last one will show the ways the coffee producers can associate with each other in order to not to sell the coffee to the best bidder but to sell it in international markets, with prudent high standards of quality and to increase its actual sales. For this project it was employed a qualitative methodology using secondary information sources and all data was analysed in a descriptive manner, some of the data acquired were taken from primary information sources. One of the main conclusions found in this work was that by performing the association model of the four farms, the supply cost and infrastructure needed for production was significantly reduced, the growings were enhanced and that the three programs developed by FEDECAFE
