Item Análisis del Efecto en las Exportaciones entre Colombia e Israel tras el Rompimiento de Relaciones Diplomáticas en 2024Maria Paula Acevedo Lopez; Andrés Rocha AlfonsoThis research is contextualized within the economic and social sciences, based on the analysis of the relations between geopolitical factors, integrating elements of the world economy and political relations to understand how the rupture of diplomatic relations between Colombia and Israel affects export flows. For the purpose, a methodology will be used to examine the transition from the trade surplus stage brought by the Free Tratade Agreement (FTA), which reached 54,2% in mining-energy exports between the years 2020-2024. (Garcia, 2025) This has brought uncertainty to Colombian entrepreneurs, who have implemented new strategies through marketing to the Middle East in order to adapt to the current problem and diversify markets to continue maintaining their production levels.
