To carry out the analysis it was necessary to resort to a qualitative methodology, in search of obtaining a deeper knowledge of leadership; by means of which it was possible to demonstrate the lack of theoretical elements to implement an effective leadership. Taking into account the most important aspects, such as theories, types and exponents of leadership, information that provides a detailed view of the elements of leadership. The document shows the analysis of the various theoretical elements that are exposed in each type of leadership, identifying the necessary elements to achieve effectiveness in organizations. The design is based in implementing an internal and external analysis, a proposal of mission and vision, objectives, linking of the personnel, the profiling of functions and management index that allow the measuring of the sketched objectives. By means of the monthly visits and interviews, the personal information was compiled to carry out SWOT and MMMO analysis. Business intelligence is mainly aimed at supporting strategic planning, decision making and competitive advantages of companies through different tools that facilitate the collection and processing of information, providing various benefits and advantages at the administrative and operational levels. Small and medium-sized companies have great growth potential, but due to some difficulties in the administration of their processes, not acquisition of technologies and other shortcomings are left behind in the market, therefore, the application of business intelligence in these Companies would maximize their competitive capacity by having a comprehensive information management to in turn give a better use of the decisions to make, among other significant benefits.
