Item AGRICULTURA VERTICAL EN LA ARQUITECTURA URBANA DEL BARRIO EL TINTAL DE LA CIUDAD DE BOGOTÁ: EVALUACIÓN DE SU VIABILIDAD COMO ESTRATEGIA DE SOSTENIBILIDAD.Samantha Melisa Moreno Molina; Maikol Alejandro Ponguta; Jeeferson Javier Morera Sarmiento; Laura Liliana Linares RomeroThis article addresses the environmental crisis and food insecurity in densely populated urban areas, particularly in the El Tintal neighborhood (Kennedy, Bogotá), where the overexploitation of resources calls for innovative solutions. The overall objective is to assess the feasibility of implementing vertical farming systems within the architectural fabric of this neighborhood to establish high-impact guidelines for sustainability and food security. The methodology is based on documentary research with a qualitative approach and an exploratory-descriptive scope. The study integrates project management tools such as the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), the Risk Matrix, and stakeholder analysis to structure a comprehensive management model. It is concluded that technical and environmental feasibility is high, highlighting 95% water efficiency and the mitigation of the local heat island effect. However, socioeconomic feasibility is limited due to the high initial investment and regulatory gaps regarding commercialization. Final success depends on robust community management that ensures operational sustainability.
