Camacho-Hurtado, Jeimy Danesa; Linares-Rico, Sandy Katherine; Redondo Mendez, Andrea Carolina
At a global level, the cultural and creative industries play an increasingly important role for the countries' economies, so it is necessary to identify the role that the government has had in promoting and helping this industry, this in order to Identify if they are taking it into account and if so, analyze whether the aid or projects they propose are the most appropriate or are being directed in the best way, in order to achieve an effective internationalization of all the sectors that comprise it. . So the first thing that was analyzed in chapter one was, what is the importance of the cultural and creative industries at the international level, what is their national division and what contribution does it have to the global economy; for chapter two, the information was focused on Colombia, to observe if it presents the same division that it has at the international level, which sectors make it up in the country, which are the supports that President Juan Manuel Santos provided at the time and which was President Ivan Duque's proposal to promote these sectors; For this, the programs and the presence that has been had at the international level in both presidential periods were analyzed.
