    El Bitcoin como medio de pago en el mercado Colombiano

    The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of bitcoin in Colombia as a means of payment and identify if it complies with the characteristics of money to consider the fact that it is a means of payment accepted throughout the country, for this purpose it will first be analyze the behavior of bitcoin over time in order to know this phenomenon and its influence in the country by comparing the results it has had in Colombia and around the world, in addition to that you will find a comparison of the behavior of bitcoin with other Cryptocurrency that are circulating in the market being the bitcoin the most used in the world economy. Second, the uses of bitcoin will be addressed and how the digital economy has improved the processes of international trade and aims to eliminate processes that increase the time and costs of external operations and finally will mention the respective legal measures for regulate the use of this CM, in Colombia were pronounced some official entities involved between those the congress of the republic, which decided to make a bill, this had many comments against since the congress intends to charge for each transaction a minimum of 5 % of the money used, the current situation in Colombia was compared with that of other countries that have already regulated the use of bitcoin.
