    Oportunidad comercial de carne de cerdo desde Colombia hacia china

    The main objective of the research is focused on the analysis of the commercial opportunities that the Colombian pig industry subsector can have in the foreign market specifically in China, taking into account all the factors involved in the process. For this, important aspects such as consumption, production, and trade of the agricultural, livestock and pig sector in Colombia were studied. On the other hand, general aspects of production and consumption in China were analyzed, in order to validate the export viability of this product. When gathering all the information, an analysis of the production and consumption figures between both countries was carried out in which it was possible to identify that due to the FMD crisis, the production of this product in China has declined significantly unlike in Colombia, country which has certified free zones of this epizootic disease, which leads to the export of pork meat is very useful taking into account the agreements that are currently being made.
