Propuesta de implementación del plan estratégico de seguridad vial (PESV) según la resolución 40595 del 2022 en la empresa transportadora Logística en Transporte Nacional de Carga y Bodegaje SAS
    Juan David Baquero Triana; Cruz-Villarraga,NelsonHumberto
The main objective of this research is to propose strategies for the implementation of the Strategic Road Safety Plan (PESV, for its acronym in Spanish) at the company Logística en Transporte Nacional de Carga y Bodegaje SAS, in accordance with the guidelines established in Resolution 40595 of 2022. This need arises from the increase in national transport operations and recent road incidents that have generated economic consequences and operational risks for the organization. Despite having a considerable fleet and a committed team, the company has not structured a formal road safety system that responds to regulatory requirements or to its clients' expectations. This situation has created vulnerabilities in risk control, incident traceability, and the projection of a responsible image in the market. The study presents a diagnosis of the company's current status regarding road safety, the identification of gaps concerning current regulations, and the design of strategies to optimize incident control, reduce operational costs associated with road incidents, and improve the organization's competitiveness. The importance of an organizational culture centered on prevention, the monitoring of key indicators, and the continuous training of operational personnel is highlighted. This work not only contributes to legal compliance but also proposes a roadmap to guarantee safe conditions in cargo transportation, protecting the lives of workers, the integrity of the goods, and business sustainability.
