Item Evaluación integral de los puestos de trabajo y formulación de propuestas de mejora ergonómica, en una empresa de geotecniaJenny Roxana Ariza Bareño; Jairo Enrique Ortega Tarazona; Diana Derly Bueno CastroThis project develops the characterization of workstations in a company within the geotechnical sector, with the purpose of identifying, analyzing, and managing ergonomic risk factors that impact workers’ health and, consequently, their performance. The research is based on a quantitative approach with a descriptive scope, using standardized methodologies such as ROSA and REBA methods, supported by tools such as direct observation, photographic records, and employee interviews. The results reveal inadequate ergonomic conditions in both administrative areas and the laboratory, including the adoption of forced and sustained postures, repetitive movements, and deficiencies in the design of furniture and workstations, in addition to long working hours without adequate scheduling of active breaks to mitigate these effects. In response to this diagnosis, an ergonomic intervention proposal is presented, structured around three main axes: workstation redesign, implementation of control measures, and promotion of healthy practices, in accordance with the guidelines of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) and current regulations. Furthermore, considering the organizational context, the project gains particular relevance due to the upcoming relocation of the company, representing a strategic opportunity to integrate ergonomic criteria from the design phase of workstations, thereby contributing to the prevention of work-related injuries, improvement of organizational well-being, increased productivity, and operational sustainability.
