    Análisis de representaciones sociales de paz en el Ariari: territorio vulnerado por el conflicto armado en Colombia

    This chapter presents an analysis of the role various social organizations have played in the achievement of peace in the war afflicted strategic region of Ariari, Meta in Colombia’s eastern plains. Within this framework, our research aimed at identifying the elements which were crucial in the achievement of a peace agreement and the role various social organizations played through their various interactions. A qualitative and descriptive research methodology was used in order to get a contextualization of the territory and its history of violence. Subsequently, a study of how the concept of peace and its practices evolved through the use of statistical tools was conducted after gathering hands on information from interviews with victims and peace seeking social aid groups in the Ariari region. Finally, an analysis of the interactions between the peace seeking social groups involved, was conducted in order to gain an insight and understanding of their contribution to the sustainability of peace.

    El discurso periodístico y la cultura de paz en el Ariari y la región metense

    El objeto de estudio del presente capítulo fue examinar el discurso periodístico en torno a las prácticas de paz en la región del Ariari y del departamento del Meta (Colombia), que ayudó a consolidar una cultura de paz. La pregunta que orientó la investigación fue ¿cómo la prensa, presentó a través del discurso periodístico acciones a favor de la construcción de cultura de paz en la región metense en el primer año de gobierno del presidente Duque? El objetivo fue identificar las categorías que utilizó la prensa (periódico Llano Sie7e días1 ) para abordar el tema de la paz, a partir de las cuales se construye cultura de paz en la región
