    Oportunidad de la quínoa colombiana en el mercado de la Unión Europea

    The objective of this research is to analyse the opportunities that Colombian quinoa has in the European Union market, to achieve this purpose the research was based on the theoretical framework of the theory of sustainable development and economic integration, also, the methodology of documentary research was applied that allowed an analysis of the characterisation of quinoa in Colombia and to examine the opportunities that quinoa has in the European Union market. The research concluded that, taking into account the nutritional properties of this superfood, it can be positioned in the European Union market, due to the opportunities offered by the trade agreement between Colombia and the EU, which agreed a 0% tariff on quinoa exports, and also the behaviour of European consumers who, concerned about improving and maintaining their health, have a high demand for organic products, a situation that should be taken advantage of by the Colombian quinoa entrepreneur to penetrate this international market.
