Hernandez Triana, Camilo Andres; Sarmiento Rodriguez, Raquel Sofia; Reyez Moreno, AlexanderIn Colombia, as in the whole world, the rural sector turns out to be key, because it is a vital part of the domestic market of any country, a fundamental part of this lies in the fact that food security depends on it, a concept that should not only refer to problems of securing food in a community, one must go further, they must refer to where and how they are produced. For the aforementioned, this project idea is based on strengthening the food security of the San Isidro village, through the implementation of hydroponic crops, given that this community despite having at its disposal a variety of resources that favor the production of food that they contribute to the improvement of food security, they are not used, on the contrary, they base agricultural production on perennial crops that provide them with economic income to survive. This research is part of the seedbed LEGIOS, of the Augustinian university, in the faculty of industrial engineering, led by engineer Alexander Reyes, which is developed in the village with the aim of strengthening food security. At the end of this research, it was possible that part of the path was induced in the subject since a survey was developed and from there great answers were given which allowed to evaluate the level of production that can be achieved, taking into account that each of These people have a space for hydroponic crops.
