Desarrollo de un videojuego de simulación para el fortalecimiento de la salud mental y emocional en adolescentes – SerenMind
Guzman Suarez Santiago; Torres Sotelo Johan Sebastian
This project consists of the development of SerenMind, a mobile video game focused on the emotional well-being of adolescents in school age who may experience academic stress, social pressure, or personal problems. The main purpose of the system is to provide an interactive and calm environment where users can perform emotional self-care activities through game mechanics related to planting, growth, and care of emotions. During the development process, functional and non-functional requirements were analyzed, graphical interfaces focused on user experience were designed, and the main mechanics of the game were implemented using development tools compatible with Android devices. In addition, a database system was integrated to store player progress and information persistence. Software testing, heuristic evaluation, and usability tests with real users were also conducted to validate the correct functioning of the video game and identify opportunities for improvement related to visual experience and system operability. The results obtained showed positive acceptance from users, demonstrating that the video game meets the proposed objectives and can serve as an interactive tool for emotional support and personal reflection for adolescents.
