    Análisis de las oportunidades de comercialización de la piel de babilla, a través de alternativas económicas como la zoocría.

    Colombia has a big biodiversity due to its geographical location and variety of weathers, which allows having a high diversity of vegetation and wildlife. This privilege condition, also carry out problems with the illegal commerce of wildlife species in local and foreign markets. The Ministry of Environment, following the agreement Cites, is trying to fight against these illicit activities to avoid the extinction of species, through zoo breeding of wild animals, having as result decrease of illegal trafficking of species with the creation of zoo breeding grounds, creating a sustainable commerce. The main goal of this investigation, is analyze the opportunity of internationalize the babilla leather, through zoo-breeding grounds, because this products has a international demand and Colombia has a comparative advantage for the production of this product. The investigation method used was an qualitative approach with a descriptive range, through a data recollection of secondary sources like universities, web documents and database. This study allows concluding that the French market is a country with a big opportunity of internationalization of the babilla leather, due to the following issues: first, it is the biggest importer of babilla leather. Second, the consumers and government support the good practices and the sustainable development. Third, is a country with low economic, social and political risk and finally Colombia has a free trade agreement with France.
