Item Difusión de la tradición artesanal de la cestería en Chusque por medio del turismo en el municipio de ApuloGuasca-Casallas, Camila Andrea; Mazuera-Morales, Andrea Paola; Nieto Mejía, AlvelayisBearing in mind that Colombian craftsmanship is the cultural representation most recognized internationally and that the value of this comes from the hands of each of the craftsmen who manufacture it, a proposal is created to contribute to the diffusion of the country's artisan tradition, starting with one of the most forgotten artisan municipalities of the department of Cundinamarca and itself, of the entire national territory. Apulo, Cundinamarca, for more than seventy years has developed artisanal activity as a source of income for the rural population of the municipality. Today, this activity of generations of craftsmen is being forgotten by many of them due to new technologies, which have brought to cities and municipalities the implementation of plastic and so have replaced the baskets and baskets with bags and containers. Despite the fact that the plastic boom has invaded the market, the Apulian artisans do not abandon their trade, as the weaving of baskets is something more than an activity or trade for them. Crafts are part of their identity as a community, as a municipality, as a province, as a department and even as a country. Through this proposal, it is intended to disseminate the artisanal activity of basketry in Chusque (a plant) not only as a source of income but also as a main attraction to promote artisanal tourism in the municipality and province of Tequendama.
