    Manejo Ambiental De Los Residuos Sólidos En Empresas Colombianas En El Periodo 2002-2018

    The general objective of this research for the business administrator degree is to analyze the environmental management of solid waste in Colombian companies during the period 2002-2018. The main conclusion is that companies in Colombia are becoming more environmentally and socially aware due to the various changes. These changes affect their economy by increasing the costs of garbage collection. Consequently, it is recognized that adequate separation at the source is precariously achieved, which contributes to the generation of very high volumes of waste in sanitary landfills, which also have their problems due to the amount of non-ordinary waste that takes hundreds of years to decompose. In addition, it is concluded that in Colombia there should be a synergy as a state plan between academia, state and business to achieve the value of waste disposal and reduce those produced
